Title: Fulton County Board of Assessors Small Business Startup and Expansion Report
Description: Ashan consulted on this project that involved more than just writing a report. She was responsible for meeting with and interviewing Board members, the chief assessor, small business owners and ofice staff in order to glean additional information to include in the report. She had to quickly understand business tax structures and previous board activity in relation to recruiting new business to the area. Ashan was also involved in event planning by arranging a focus group of small business owners at a local restaurant and covering all details and marketing aspects of the event. She also recorded the meeting discussion, transcribed the notes and compiled the results into stastical table format. The draft below also demonstrates her ability to effectively edit technical documents.
